A skate park for the Acacia health centre yard: help our neighbors in Quezon City
Volunteers in Quezon City are raising $300 for a skate park at the Acacia health centre yard.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 24 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Acacia health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $300.
It will serve about 462 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in April and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $300 goes:
• Safety equipment and signage: $75
• Permits and inspections: $50
• Materials: $175
