Friendly visitor needed for an 80-year-old neighbor in San Miguel de Tucumán
Looking for a friendly person in San Miguel de Tucumán to visit Lourdes once a week.

I'm writing for my neighbor Lourdes, who's 80. Lourdes lives alone in San Miguel de Tucumán, and lost a spouse of many years last year. The nearest family lives several hours away.
Lourdes loves knitting, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Saturday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
Glad we found this place.

Hope things get better soon. Your post was clear and honest. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Thinking of San Miguel de Tucumán.
Sending good thoughts. Your post was clear and honest. My neighbor in Kelowna donated after I showed her your page. God bless!
You're not alone, Beatriz. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like.
Good luck, Beatriz. This could happen to any of us. Greetings from Dar es Salaam
Best of luck. I hope things turn around soon. Sent it to 13 people at work. Thinking of San Miguel de Tucumán.
sending good thoughts, Beatriz. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did.
