Help Chathurika move out of an unsafe apartment this Wednesday
Moving day on Wednesday: we need four volunteers and ideally a van.

After my landlord sold the building, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Negombo, and the lease starts on Wednesday. I have two children, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for four volunteers for about four hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the third floor with no elevator and the new place has a ground-floor entrance. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
