A fresh start in Brampton: help the Sahin family resettle
The Sahin family are rebuilding in Brampton after leaving Yemen; your gift pays for housing basics.

My family left Yemen 9 months ago after our home was destroyed. We spent time in a camp before we were resettled in Brampton. We're a family of six and we're safe, but we arrived with very little.
Our resettlement agency has provided 3 months of rent, and that support ends in October.
I was a nurse in Yemen, and I'm studying the language every evening. Our daughter and son have started school and are doing well.
We want nothing more than to be self-sufficient. This fund will help us through the first six months.
All purchases will be documented and photos shared (with the family's consent).
Where the $4,400 goes:
• Rent deposit and first month: $1,800
• Beds, table and basic furniture: $1,500
• Winter clothing and school supplies: $260
• Language classes and bus passes: $540
• Phone and internet for school and job search: $300
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
