Help Như keep the the Thursday Table pantry stocked
Help keep a free food pantry open for families facing hunger in Cầu Giấy.

Since 2021, our volunteer team has run the Thursday Table every Wednesday from the back of the old library basement. We started with 25 families, and now we feed 279 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 51% this summer, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 12 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Cầu Giấy market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $550 goes:
• Refrigeration and electricity: $30
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $360
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $160
