After an aortic valve defect, Khang was cleared for emergency hernia repair, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Khang was diagnosed with an aortic valve defect in June. The surgeon at Hồ Chí Minh City Orthopedic Institute recommended emergency hernia repair, and He is scheduled for August. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,400, and after what the government subsidy will pay we're still $700 short.
my father has been in and out of Hồ Chí Minh City Orthopedic Institute since June. The doctors say an aortic valve defect will get worse without emergency hernia repair. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,400 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Khang struggles with daily life and can't drive. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 7 weeks. During that time Khang won't be able to drive, so the costs keep growing.
