I coordinate donations at Pioneer Refugee Centre in Dharan. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 2 to 14 years. If you're in Dharan, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Pioneer Refugee Centre on Wednesday between 9am and 4pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the Pioneer Refugee Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
Thank you for reading my story.

hope things get better soon, Bikash. Shared this with my family. We're a small family in Akron but we're thinking of you. All the best.
