School supplies and a laptop for Kevin in Manila

Kevin earned a place in Grade 9 at Manila Technical College, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things He needs, including a laptop for the biology course, and a uniform. The family has few resources; the list costs $55, which is more than they have. Kevin loves biology and wants to become an architect. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours. He will take care of everything given and works very hard. I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything. Where the $55 goes: • Textbooks and workbooks: $30 • School uniform and shoes: $20 • Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $5 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
