Help Trevor restart a neighborhood bakery in Kingston after a fire in the building

Trevor has run a neighborhood bakery for nine years; a fire in the building destroyed the equipment, and $1,200 will put it back on its feet.

Kingston
For nine years I have run a neighborhood bakery in Kingston. In June, a fire in the building took a commercial oven. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me. Before that, my customers came every Monday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 6 weeks. This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment. Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item. I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go. Where the $1,200 goes: • Replacing a commercial oven: $560 • Initial stock: flour, butter and sugar: $210 • Shop repairs and licensing: $220 • Working capital for the first month: $210 If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

  2. Quick update: $514 raised so far (43%). I met with the supplier and confirmed the amounts. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.

  3. Small update. $399 so far, the first invoice got paid this week.
