Dinesh needs an espresso machine and grinder to reopen a roadside café
Dinesh lost an espresso machine and grinder to a long illness and repossession and needs $600 to reopen a roadside café and support the family.

For six years I have run a roadside café in Thiruvananthapuram. In May, a long illness and repossession took an espresso machine and grinder. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Monday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 5 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $600 goes:
• Replacing an espresso machine and grinder: $450
• Initial stock: coffee and pastries: $70
• Shop repairs and licensing: $35
• Working capital for the first month: $45
Thank you for reading my story.

Thinking of you and your family, Dinesh. It takes guts to ask. Well done. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. All the best.
Praying for you, Dinesh. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Blessings.
Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Dinesh!
Sure. The biggest one is replacing an espresso machine and grinder, $450. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Fair thing to want to know.
Hope things get better soon, Dinesh. Shared it with a few friends. I have a 8 year old who wants to send good wishes too.
stay strong, Dinesh. Your post was clear and honest. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust.
Wishing you the best. This could happen to any of us. Love from Obuasi
