A simple way to help: donate warm clothing for kids at the Sycamore Community Church.

I coordinate donations at the Sycamore Community Church in Mecca. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 4-12. If you're in Mecca, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Sycamore Community Church on Wednesday between 9am and 4pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Sycamore Community Church clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
Thanks for being kind about this.

Hope it all works out. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. All the best.
Hang in there. It takes guts to ask. Well done. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Take care
A colleague of mine might know someone for this in Makkah. I'll ask around and let you know
Take care. I hope things turn around soon. Thinking of Mecca.
Hang in there, Khadija. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Love from Manchester.
Shared it with a few friends. Put this on a community board in Rawalpindi this morning.
Hope this works out for you. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money.
Take care, Khadija. This could happen to any of us. After 11 years in nursing I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
Thanks for sharing this, Khadija. Shared this with my family. Take care.
Best of luck. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I went through something like this 6 years ago and strangers helped me out. Love from Saint-Étienne
