Back to business - Raffaella's comeback in Rome
A flower stall in Rome needs help replacing display cabinets and a cooler after a fire in the building.
🇮🇹 Italy2,873 views
For four years I have run a flower stall in Rome. In August, a fire in the building took display cabinets and a cooler. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Monday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 5 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $2,500 goes:
• Replacing display cabinets and a cooler: $1,400
• Initial stock: seasonal flowers: $550
• Shop repairs and licensing: $195
• Working capital for the first month: $355
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Sending strength. Gave what I could, wish it was more. We're a small family in London but we're thinking of you
rooting for you, Raffaella. Shared it with a few friends. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Take care.
wishing you the best. I hope things turn around soon. We're a small family in Manila but we're thinking of you. Thinking of Rome.
