One semester away: help Komal graduate from the Mumbai Institute of Technology
Komal is one term away from finishing a law degree but is blocked from enrolling by an unpaid balance of $1,000.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying a law degree at the Mumbai Institute of Technology, and I'm one term away from graduating. I have worked as a tutor to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $1,000.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a distinction average, and my professor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $1,000 goes:
• Exam and lab fees: $25
• Final term tuition: $590
• Outstanding tuition balance: $385
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Hope things get better soon, Komal. I hope things turn around soon. Greetings from Utrecht.
Take care. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Love from Coyoacán
