30 volunteers for the Clean Streets Saturday in Halifax
We're short of hands for the Clean Streets Saturday; can you spare a morning?
🇨🇦 Nova Scotia, Canada307 views
Every year the Clean Streets Saturday brings together 280 neighbors in Halifax. I help organize it with 9 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for registration, sorting donations and carrying boxes. Shifts are three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a family-friendly day, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
Glad we found this place.

Sending strength. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Blessings!

wishing you the best. Your post was clear and honest. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.
