School supplies and a laptop for Mwende in Kasarani
Help Mwende begin Form 4 with a laptop, uniform and books.
🇰🇪 Kasarani, Nairobi, Kenya762 views
Mwende earned a place in Form 4 at Kasarani Technical College, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things He needs, including a laptop for the robotics course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $50, which is more than they have.
Mwende loves robotics and wants to become an engineer. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
He will take care of everything given and works very hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $50 goes:
• Textbooks and workbooks: $25
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $10
• School uniform and shoes: $15
I hope life is good to you.
Updates from Njoroge
Good news. Because of your gifts ($33 in total) we've booked the dates and paid the deposit. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
Update from Kasarani: I made the first payment toward textbooks and workbooks. We're at 65% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.
We're at 20% thanks to 1 of you. I met with the school supplier and confirmed the amounts. More news soon.

Praying for you. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Greetings from Caruaru!
