Piano and bass teacher
- 🇪🇹 Mekelle, Tigray, Ethiopia
- Mekelle Heritage Ensemble
- Since 2013
- English
I play piano and bass. I started in 2013 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 9 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I'm always reading two books at once.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Wegayehu
I write my first song when I was 16. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Wegayehu: I'd put a gift toward recording a small album.
