The Freedom community hall needs a covered market stall space - Ricardo's neighborhood project
A community-led a covered market stall space at the Freedom community hall that will serve 469 neighbors.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 23 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Freedom community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $1,250.
It will serve about 469 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in February and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.

• Tools hire and delivery: $155
• Permits and inspections: $105
• Materials: $990
