Wambui Irene Massawe
Watercolor artist in Kampala
- 🇺🇬 Kampala, Central Region, Uganda
- Central Art Collective
- Since 2002
- English, Swahili
I work mostly in watercolor, sometimes ceramics. My first show was in 2002 at Central Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at Central Art Collective, which keeps me honest.

If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
