Rolando R. Alcantara
Choir direction player and teacher in Manila
- 🇵🇭 Manila, Metro Manila, Philippines
- Manila Acacia Band
- 2002 to 2023
- English, Filipino
I've played choir direction from 2002 to 2023, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
I teach about 8 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I watch every football match going.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Rolando
I wrote my first song when I was 13. It was terrible and I still love it.

What gifts mean to Rolando: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
