I've worked in masonry from 1984 to 2008. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 550 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 12 years later for another job.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
What gifts mean to Ricardo: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
