The old Cedar bus depot needs a solar-powered water pump - Nga's neighborhood project

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a solar-powered water pump. This year a group of 29 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Cedar bus depot, but no funding. We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $450. It will serve about 321 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
