For 24 years I have been the accounting teacher at Gondar Public School. I teach Grade 4 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've run the reading group after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I fix old bicycles.
More about Mekonnen
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mekonnen: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
