I teach social studies and physical education at Liberty Public School, Los Angeles. My door was open at lunch.
I've coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Leila
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Leila: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
