A community-led a sensory garden for children with autism at the Harmony vacant lot that will serve 163 neighbors.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a sensory garden for children with autism. This year a group of 24 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Harmony vacant lot, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $550.
It will serve about 163 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in January and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.

• Safety equipment and signage: $100
• Tools hire and delivery: $125
