Let's build a repair café workshop together in Davao City
A community-led a repair café workshop at the Cedar community hall that will serve 153 neighbors.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 10 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Cedar community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $700.
It will serve about 153 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in September and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $700 goes:
• Materials: $530
• Permits and inspections: $35
• Safety equipment and signage: $80
• Tools hire and delivery: $55
