Githinji Daniel Salim
Youth chess coach and mentor
- 🇺🇬 Kampala, Central Region, Uganda
- Kampala Athletic Club
- 2006 to 2019
- English
I'm a chess coach. I never went pro, but I got to see 780 kids fall in love with the game.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I answered every email, even at midnight.
More about Githinji
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Githinji: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
