Coach Athumani
Coached softball for twelve years in Gulu
- 🇺🇬 Gulu, Northern Region, Uganda
- 1998 to 2010
- English, Swahili, Spanish
For twelve years I ran the softball program at Elmwood Football Club in Gulu. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I played music while people worked.
More about Coach Athumani
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Coach Athumani: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
