Coach Awino
Youth rowing coach and mentor
- 🇺🇬 Kampala, Central Region, Uganda
- 2012 to 2025
- English, Swahili
For 13 years I ran the rowing program at Kampala Community Club in Kampala. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
More about Coach Awino
If you played for me, you probably remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand.
What gifts mean to Coach Awino: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
