Fatima Omolara Gbadamosi
Painter, potter and teacher at Old Awka Studio
- 🇳🇬 Awka, Anambra, Nigeria
- Old Awka Studio
- 1992 to 2000
- English, Hausa
I work mostly in street art, sometimes illustration. My first show was in 1992 at Old Awka Studio, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at Old Awka Studio, which keeps me honest.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Fatima: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
