Save Tucker: Genesis can't afford the emergency vet
Tucker, Genesis's tabby kitten, needs urgent treatment for pyometra costing $2,450.
🇺🇸 United States285 views
Tucker is my tabby kitten of eleven years. On 29 July we rushed to Jacksonville Animal Hospital with pyometra. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $2,450.
They have stabilized Tucker, but the treatment can't wait beyond September.
Tucker is more than a pet - Tucker got me through my hardest year. I have already put $380 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Jacksonville Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $2,450 goes:
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $340
• Medication and follow-up visits: $340
• Emergency surgery: $1,770
Thank you for reading my story.
