For 22 years I've run the rowing program at Athens Athletic Club in Athens. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I fix old bicycles.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Eleni: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
