Mariana's final semester of a degree in social work in Alicante
Mariana has worked and saved for four years to study a degree in social work; a $2,150 gap now stands between her and graduation.

Mariana is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a degree in social work at Alicante University, and is one term away from graduating. She has worked as a library assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $2,150.
The registrar has said Mariana can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Mariana has a 3.8 average, and a professor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Mariana would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Mariana isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Alicante University bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.

• Textbooks and materials: $190
