I've coached rowing at Bang Khen Youth Club since 2011. Most of my players were between 8 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
What gifts mean to Duangjai: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
