Standing with Zainab: non-Hodgkin lymphoma treatment costs
Zainab is facing non-Hodgkin lymphoma and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Zainab was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma in June. The oncology team at the Aurora Oncology Institute has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in July. She will be away from work for about 10 weeks.
Zainab is 57, worked as a shop owner until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Aurora Oncology Institute 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

• Scans and lab work: $1,150
• Household costs while unable to work: $2,050
• Transport to the Aurora Oncology Institute: $500
