Help Cherry replace the suspension and return to work

Without my food truck Cherry can't work; a $200 repair would put her back on the road.

I make my living with my food truck. 3 weeks ago the suspension failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $200. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update. Where the $200 goes: • suspension replacement (parts): $100 • Labor charges: $35 • Road tax and insurance renewal: $40 • Towing and inspection: $25 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Updates from Cherry

  1. Small update. $175 so far, I met with the mechanic and confirmed the amounts.

  2. Thank you all. We're at 43% now ($85). I'm honestly stunned. the first invoice got paid this week.

  3. Update from Iloilo City: I made the first payment toward suspension replacement. We're at 20% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.
