Coach Makoto
Coached boxing for 25 years in Tokyo
- 🇯🇵 Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan
- Valley View Athletic Club
- Since 2001
- English, Japanese
For 25 years I've run the boxing program at Valley View Athletic Club in Tokyo. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
What gifts mean to Coach Makoto: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
