I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying a degree in social work at Malang State College, and I'm one term away from graduating. I have worked as a warehouse packer to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $250.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a 3.8 average, and my professor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Malang State College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $250 goes:
• Textbooks and materials: $45
• Exam and lab fees: $25
• Final term tuition: $180
With deep gratitude,
Yusuf

Good luck. Looking forward to the next update. Love from Mysuru
Good luck. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. Love from Pune.
I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. After 17 years in construction I know how hard it's to ask for anything
