Yinka needs a pair of hearing aids that the health system will not fund; the cost is $500.

Yinka lives with an amputation below the knee. The occupational therapist at Badagry General Hospital has assessed him and recommended a pair of hearing aids. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $500.
His current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 6 weeks.
With the right equipment Yinka could speak with the people around him. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.

• Fitting and training sessions: $55
