I coordinate donations at Union Women's Shelter in Vancouver. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes kids' 3 to 5 and women's S-L. If you're in Vancouver, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Union Women's Shelter on Saturday between 10am and 4pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the Union Women's Shelter clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
I hope life is good to you.

Sending love, Clara. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better
you're not alone, Clara. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Love from Los Angeles.
best of luck, Clara. Your post was clear and honest. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Blessings
Wishing you peace, Clara. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. Sent it to 31 people at work. God bless.
Sending love, Clara. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes.
