Winter coats and boots for 12 children at the Baobab Family Centre in Berlin
Coats, boots, hats and gloves are needed before the rains.

I coordinate donations at the Baobab Family Centre in Berlin. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 2 to 14 years. If you're in Berlin, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Baobab Family Centre on Saturday between 11am and 3pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Baobab Family Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
Thank you for reading my story.

Wishing you the best, Leni. This could happen to any of us. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it
Looking forward to the next update. Thinking of Berlin
Thinking of you, Leni. Your post was clear and honest. Blessings.
A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Blessings.
Hang in there. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Love from Stellenbosch.

Wishing you peace. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Put this on a community board in Pune this morning. Greetings from Pune.
