Huy was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in March. The oncology team at Hanoi Regional Medical Center has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in July. He will be away from work for about 4 weeks.
Huy is 52, worked as a shop owner until March, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Hanoi Regional Medical Center 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.

• Transport to Hanoi Regional Medical Center: $95
• Household costs while unable to work: $150
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $55
