I coordinate donations at the Maple Community Church in Accra. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes kids' 3 to 5 and women's S-L. If you're in Accra, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Maple Community Church on Monday between 9am and 4pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Maple Community Church clothing bank, which is open to everyone. I hope life is good to you.

  • Sending love. I hope things turn around soon. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Blessings.

    • Keep going, Mabel. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. I hope August is when things finally get easier. Love from Duque de Caxias.

      • It takes guts to ask. Well done. Put this on a community board in Sylhet this morning. Love from Sylhet.
