A communication tablet with eye tracking for Zubair: help Zubair move freely
Help Zubair get a communication tablet with eye tracking so He can speak with the people around him.
🇵🇰 Faisalabad, Punjab, Pakistan207 views
Zubair lives with low vision from retinitis pigmentosa. The occupational therapist at the Faisalabad Rehabilitation Centre has assessed him and recommended a communication tablet with eye tracking. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,100.
His current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 7 weeks.
With the right equipment Zubair could speak with the people around him. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $1,100 goes:
• communication tablet with eye tracking: $1,000
• Fitting and training sessions: $25
• Delivery and set-up: $25
• First-year servicing plan: $50
Every share and every dollar helps.

Best of luck, Ahmed. Get well soon. Sent it to 18 people at work. All the best.
Keep going. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Take care.
Hope things get better soon. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. God bless
Good luck. Shared this with my family. We're a small family in Jakarta but we're thinking of you.
Shared this with my family. My colleague had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Greetings from Patna
