Surgery fund for Habib: ACL reconstruction in Savar
Habib needs ACL reconstruction at Saint Mary Hospital and the family is $700 short of the hospital's estimate.

Habib was diagnosed with a deviated septum causing chronic infections in March. The surgeon at Saint Mary Hospital recommended ACL reconstruction, and He is scheduled for June. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,400, and after what my insurance will pay we're still $700 short.
my husband has been in and out of Saint Mary Hospital since March. The doctors say a deviated septum causing chronic infections will get worse without ACL reconstruction. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,400 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Habib struggles with daily life and can't look after the children alone. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
The recovery period is expected to take about 12 weeks. During that time Habib won't be able to look after the children alone, so the costs keep growing.
