Warm clothes needed: the Liberty Family Centre families in Houston
A simple way to help: donate warm clothing for kids at the Liberty Family Centre.
🇺🇸 Houston, Texas, United States421 views
I coordinate donations at the Liberty Family Centre in Houston. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 2 to 14 years. If you're in Houston, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Liberty Family Centre on Tuesday between 11am and 2pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Liberty Family Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
Thanks for being kind about this.

Thinking of you and your family, Isaiah. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I went through something like this 5 years ago and strangers helped me out. Love from Corpus Christi
It takes guts to ask. Well done. Thinking of Houston.
Hope it all works out, Isaiah. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. God bless.
hope it all works out. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it
Good luck, Isaiah. Hope you get there
