An adapted tricycle for Dipu: help Dipu move freely
An adapted tricycle would give Dipu independence - we're $50 away.
🇧🇩 Bangladesh1,680 views
Dipu lives with muscular dystrophy. The occupational therapist at the Dhaka Mobility Clinic has assessed him and recommended an adapted tricycle. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $50.
His current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 10 weeks.
With the right equipment Dipu could join the school sports day. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $50 goes:
• First-year servicing plan: $20
• Delivery and set-up: $10
• Fitting and training sessions: $20
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
