I coordinate donations at Cedar Women's Shelter in Davao City. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes kids' 3 to 5 and women's S-L. If you're in Davao City, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Cedar Women's Shelter on Friday between 11am and 2pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the Cedar Women's Shelter clothing bank, which is open to everyone. I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

  • Stay strong, Noel. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too
