Volunteers needed to fix a leaking roof for Oliver in London
Could you spare a weekend to help repair a leaking roof in London?

I'm a school janitor living in London. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 4 places, and the living room is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $5,500, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the corrugated iron sheets and timber. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for a small crew who can help over a weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is work boots and a hat. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
Thank you for reading my story.

best of luck, Oliver. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better
wishing you peace. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Put this on a community board in Houston this morning. All the best.
Praying for you, Oliver. Gave what I could, wish it was more. All the best
This could happen to any of us. I hope February is when things finally get easier.
Good luck, Oliver. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes
