Fighting early-stage lung cancer: help Rowan afford treatment in San Jose
10 rounds of treatment are planned at San Jose Cancer Centre; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Rowan was diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer in October. The oncology team at San Jose Cancer Centre has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in December. He will be away from work for about 4 weeks.
Rowan is 39, worked as a hairdresser until October, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to San Jose Cancer Centre 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $6,750
• Transport to San Jose Cancer Centre: $900
