Volunteers needed to fix a leaking roof for Manikandan in Mumbai
Could you spare one long weekend to help repair a leaking roof in Mumbai?

I'm a disabled veteran living in Mumbai. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 4 places, and the kitchen is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $720, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the tiles and battens. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for 4-6 people who can help over one long weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is sturdy shoes, gloves and a willingness to work. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
I hope life is good to you.

Hope it all works out, Manikandan. Your post was clear and honest. My neighbor in Tampa donated after I showed her your page. Greetings from Tampa.
Sending strength, Manikandan. Shared it with a few friends. All the best
Sending good thoughts, Manikandan. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier
